Our Purpose
The Wolseley Residents Association is a group of community residents working to improve the community of Wolseley in Winnipeg, Manitoba by organizing community events and keeping residents informed of the goings on in their area. We are also happy to help residents organize to tackle issues in the community
The community we service is defined in our constitution as:
Residents of the area bounded by Osborne Street, Portage Avenue, St. James Street and the Assiniboine River.
These boundaries were originally chosen based on the area serviced by Robert A. Steen Community Centre, the WRA’s home base.

Objectives of the Wolseley Residents' Association:
- To represent the interests of the residents of the Wolseley area, to respond to concerns raised by them, to alert residents to problems, and to disseminate information.
- To engage in long-term planning for the future of the area.
- To take appropriate action where deemed necessary by the members.
- To advocate and lobby for community issues within the policy decisions of the community and in response to residents' concerns.
- To maintain productive and supportive relationships with the community groups within the boundaries of the WRA and other resident activist organizations in Winnipeg within the policy direction established by the community.
